Guys-

These 562s rock. I cannot believe this thing is a 60cc saw.

Here it is along with a stock 385 and a big bore 395. All three with new Stihl square-ground (fresh out of the box.)

That 562xp autotune is running flatout fast!

It is Jack. I got it flashed today with the latest update. This thing has loads of torque. Once you start it in the wood, you can lean on it all day. Great acceleration too.

The sweet thing about the AT saws is if you're zinging a smaller cookie it runs perfect. If you dog it in for a large round, it runs great. Those big boys sounded like they were jetted fat for the big bars, which slows them down considerably in smaller wood.

MMMmmmmmm, pass the bologna please!:cucumber:

Yeah those two bigger saws I just put together and they're tuned pig rich right now. The 395 Big Bore I actually used at 8,000' elevation to fall some big Shasta Fir and Lodgepole snags.

After running mine on the tree service for a couple months, I caught a lot of hell for stating it replaced my 70cc saw needs. Was I out of line,
Jacob?

Aren't they impressive as hell....!?

I'd never need one ported honestly. Just do the muffler and leave it at that!

Nice handle JJ. :yup:

Now now tell him what you told me about wrap handles..... :D

That's the exact reaction I had when running Forrest's 562 at my GTG last spring. It had a 28" bar, and was keeping up with his ported 372.

It had already cut 200 loads at that point, and had a MM is all.

Me wanty one.

I've only run a 68 dl bar on my 562. I see them running long bars then remember that it's only a 60cc saw.

I'm gonna be swapping over to a 24" on mine for commercial thinning in soft wood plantations here.

Extra points for the video, but this is a pretty lame build thread. :D

It's true.
