Currently hooked through Verizon using a Motorola Droid X. I made a deal for the Droid X due to all the jailbroke apps one can get. It has been on the market for a while now so lots of toys available.

I have the eyefone. I currently use the text message app and the phone call app. Also the forum app. Those are probably my favorites!

I can't seem to figure out the camera though. Everytime I try to look through the viewfinder and take a pic, this is all I get :dunno:

LOLOL

Never got hooked on the Iphone thing. Droid always had more apps and flexibility so I stuck with it.

Another reason I picked up the X, it has an HDMI hookup. With unlimited internet, I burned almost six gigs in the first week just on Netflix

Anyone with a new Samsung Galaxy Nexus? I may jump aboard the smart phone train but a three year contract with a phone that will be obsolete in six months to a year kind of sucks.

iPhone 4.

I've stood in line for each and every iPhone on the day of release every year except for the 4S in 2011. The 4S really was a let down IMO.

I'm waiting for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to come to AT&T - hopefully it will. Although if it shows up in May I just may end up waiting for the iPhone conference to see what the 6th gen iPhone will be bringing to the table. I've been ready to upgrade since last June - I'm just currently on the fence about what to do. Wait for Nexus, or wait for next iPhone. Either way I'll be satisfied so overall it doesn't matter all that much.

Agreed. I bought the wife the 4S, and aside from the camera (which is phenomenal BTW) it was a serious let down. Siri is freakin annoying :(

I'm gonna hang on the the 4 until the next gen, and see what's up.

I really can't imagine not having an iPhone though.

I think a lot of it (or just about all of it) had to do with SJ being ill with cancer....

But I'm just about over it - looking forward to see what the next gen will be. Even if I get the Nexus, if I like the next gen iPhone I'll just swap it out. No biggie....

My buddy has one and I've used it. Simply amazing phone but it destroys batteries. Lte is crazy fast and only limited to the phones processor.

I never got to excited about phones. I was with Verizon for about 11 years and just told them to go pound sand. I went with the Wal-mart Stright Talk and pay 30.00 month for a 1000 minutes and 1000 texts. I don't need or really want to have internet on my phone. I have enough distractions and don't need anymore. If the costs weren't so farking high it might be a different story but I refuse to pay that much a month so I can f-off on the interenet that I can hardly see

Droid 3 on verizon. I didn't really want to go to a smart phone but now I have one I really like it. Being able to surf at work or answer an email about saws or stuff so you don't miss out on a craigslist deal is nice.

I did the same thing to AT&T, I had a family plan that went from
50$ per line to 90$ after I renewed my my contract.

I've been with Straight Talk for about a year, and the issue with them is you have to
get a decent phone to get any reception. I upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Precedent
Android powered phone a couple months ago. In my area that phone uses Verizon
towers so my reception is great. And only paying 45$ a month is pretty damn nice too.

Yeah I have some kind of a Samsung phone, not a smart phone and it uses the Verizon towers. I guess depending the phone is whose towers you use.

I'm using a rooted Motorola Bionic here. I love the 4G speeds. Battery life sucks though when you combine 4G, a dual core processor, and a large screen.

Verizon with DROID X2

Its spendy, but driving truck I get alot of downtime during the day waiting here and there then try to stay off the home computer in the evening, doesn't work but that's what I tell myself anyways! Seems like tapatalk likes to argue with my phone alot, force closing constantly.

Rooted mine as well. Amazing the performance you can get out of a ported phone:D

I hear ya. Verizon is spendy and for some reason in my area doesn't work well indoors :banghead:

Sometimes wish I didn't have a phone at all

I bought the wife the 4S as well. As you say the camera is impressive but I don't see the 4S being worth the upgrade from the 4 which I have.

I bought a smart phone primarily for the larger screen as my eyes are failing. What I didn't realise is this phone can do almost anything with the avail apps apart from perform fellatio!
