For the last 16 (give or take) years I've had a job up fitting vehicles. Although with the current economic environment, sales have been slow leading more of my time to be invested in small engine work. Every year we get 8-10 local utility service trucks to work over, this being the first of 8 in the coming month.

Weatherguard pack rat with a custom frame built around it to carry a Bedslide HD. The top is a commercial unit out of Ohio built by ARE. Running boards are Raptor 5" ovals.

Any guess as to why I like these Bedslide units so much?

Wow, I hadn't even seen this last post when I started to reply, took a while to post as I had to walk the dog, and they actuall show it w/ wood on it. Didn't figure to really be that strong.

Yup $8K worth of saw storage :yup: Bedslide is rated at 2000lbs evenly distributed. Hauled a lot of wood on mine.
