268 piston fitted. Had to open it up a bit to fit the rod. Smooth out the casting scale while I was at it.

Band cut, squish at .021 around .050 out of it..

Just by swapping the piston numbers are 81, 110, 131.

Transfers widened just a bit, clipped the bottom edge. Set at 123

Ex set at 101, just a bit wider too.

This one may end up with a little too much compression. ..

He who bitches gets stitches.

Or doesn't get to throw the track switches, something like that.

Never even seen one of them echo upright all orange saws, other than in the dealership I got my free Huskaroo stuff.

You kinda binge on these projects. Pretty cool.

So you pressure tested before you started and the cylinder didn't leak?

Nope, bought from online auction.

I'm thinking it was a oops at the factory. Being a 20+yo saw. In this good of shape.

Thinking owner bought it, ran it very little, till it scored. Been scooting around the shop floor lots of rash on the bottom, someone picked it up just replaced the fuel line and couldn't get it running. So off to the auction along with the other junk.

But passed the pull rope test. And the throttle linkage was off, figured I would just tear it down and build it up.

You, as the modifier, are supposed to do something about that.

What you gonna do?
After enough plugs, it should self clearance.

Don't think it will hit. If it does, index /add washer/make a divot. Etc.

That thread was pretty funny. Before my time lol
See grasshopper, back in the day riff riffs like us had to run off a know-it-all or three, make sure the claims matched the results, which is easy to do here. We had a hard time keeping him humble and his head out of his ass on AS, truth is we failed miserably. Which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

But, we tried, Lord, how we tried. Truth is hard thing, sometimes it don't stick to slippery sumbiches like that.
