Hampshire Heritage Festival
Lumberjack Championships

Date: Saturday, September 8, 2012
Romney, West Virginia, WV School for the Deaf and Blind
Registration: 11:00 AM events beginning at 12:30 PM

Entry Deadline: To enter competition, please make check payable to “Hampshire Heritage Festivalâ€- and mail to Chris Bradshaw Rt. 1 Box 158 Ridgeley, WV 26753. Entry forms received by August 25, 2012 will be guaranteed blocks for the competition.

Entry Fees: $5.00 per event

1st Place Overall leader will receive $125 and a Hampshire Heritage Fest Trophy

Direction: From the West, entering Romney on Route 50 East take left at the second stop light across from McDonalds. From the East, entering Romney on Route 50 West take right at first stop light across from McDonalds. This is the Main entrance to the West Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind. Event will be held in Soccer Field bordering Route 50.

Wood for sawing events will be square 8x8 cants chopping wood will be 11†standing and 12†underhand

There will be a cookout for competitors and their families after the show. Competitor meals will be free. Non-Competitors meal will cost $8.00 per person. Please confirm number of non-competitor meals.

THIS IS A GENERAL RELEASE AND WAIVER OF ALL CLAIMS OF LIABILITY THAT MAY ARISE FROM MY PARTICIPATION IN THE HAMPSHIRE FEST EVENT TO TAKE PLACE THE WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 7th, 8th, and 9th 2012.
This release and waiver is intended to and does extend protection from liability for any injury suffered by my person and or property during this event. Further I do assume the risk of any such injuries to myself or my property, releasing the above named entities from liability now and in the future.
