Lacquer thinner or acetone will do the same as deet, just wipe it on quick with a lint free rag, and don't touch it until it re-hardens.

I've use this method for the 0fg ones, works fine if you don't dick around with it.

Try it on your neghbours pos.

how bout these conversions for older rigs? sealed beam that takes those blind the other fuker bulbs. any body done that? any good?
I've done a few pieces of machinery to save buying 24 volt sealed beams. It's just a kit with a headlight lens and bucket. You can put whatever kind of H3 bulb you want

My 1998 Dodge had aftermarket HID lights when I bought it. They were awesome bright. After realizing they weren't legal, I replaced them with original bulbs. They allow light up high and blind other motorists. It was bad. Oncoming traffic would pull slow down and pull onto the shoulder as I approached. It was gonna cause an accident and kill someone.
