Sold my 660, and 44. The 44 went to Parmeter, as it well should he is a stihl man through and through. I loved both saws, both have been absolutely bulletproof, no complaints. Guess my favorite is Husky, I still have the utmost respect for Stihl, and one own one in a heart beat in the future. So I now have a 372, two 288's one is a builder. a like new 395 xp, I just bought when selling the 66. And a sweet 1100, and 2101. Then one build or parts 2100. Say the least I am pretty happy:ban::dance::golf::bananacorn:

Yeah pretty happy! This saw does not have a scratch anywhere, looks like it had a half tank put through it. It is an 04 I believe, tag says 04 so think 2004. I was pleasantly surprised it has a Tilotson carb:dance: That was nice! Bar has been profiled, and is nice but obvious it was off another saw, this one was just to clean, still had price skew on bottom, and i mean not a scaratch, filter did not even have any saw dust, or ever been cleaned, saw looked like it just came out of the box. 550.00 out the door:dance: Of course you know I could not picture the 395 alone! My 2101 with my new v-stack and K&N and my 288 xp, then the arsenal in the shed.

Btw Norm, I'm not sure I would have wanted to get rid of an 044 if I had one (specially not an older one) - but each to their own.....

When you can get your hands on a 572 I'm sure the ol' 044's are going to get dusty ;)

Oh and this may be a little off topic from the OP but it's still Husky LOL A stock 550 in my hands with the same B/C cutting the same wood on the same day with the same gas as a stock 346xp outcut the 346 by a couple of seconds. I'm going to get a more thorough check of what the heck was going on then, don't think it should have been that much different, but it was!

So true Jason my friend. Tom yep! Nikko I agree the 44 was tough, hell 66 was too, both earlier, and low hour. But atleast the 44 went to a good home, a best friend, and Stihl man, I can trade back if I find a 46 and I would. Sentimental wise. Cut4fun love it:party::laughing::bananawiggle: Happy new year to some dam!! Good friends. I am in sentimental land, sipping some real high end whiskey. Six gun and saw salute dear friends. Happy new year!
