I would like to put better chain/bar on,, its a 20 would like an 18
And the chain I have in the vangard stuff.
Take them raker things down another couple passes. Then a couple more.
If it gets too grabby, sharpen it. It will cut, but you got to stay after the rakers. They don't ride in the first couple thousandths of the wood like the others, they float across the top.
About the time you get it right, it will be time for a new chain. And you won't buy that stuff again.

I've got a 18" .325 rs chisel on my ported 257
It's a good hardwood combo.
I haven't ran it much for six year's
Going to let a friend cut all his firewood
With it.

Smallest rim sprocket I could find local is .325x9,, I think its too much.
Would like a 8,,, and 18 bar. I like .325 on my smaller saws,
I dont htink a 7 is made as it wouldnt fit the drum,,
WTF do I know
You need a .325 small spline 7 pin. That thing don't want no 8 and definitely not a 9
