Not a ton of info out about this yet, but the next gen is coming and it's looking to be pricey as hell. Good idea, or bad idea.....

As long as they keep producing normal iPads along with it there shouldn't be any problems. I don't see myself running out to get one but they sound cool. I hardly ever use my laptop anymore since I got this.
