So I had always assumed that the 2094 and 2095 were essentially the same saw with different top ends. Looking at the IPL's, there are different part numbers for the wrap handle and the top cover. The top cover is probably just an updated part number as the only different number is the last one. The handle looks different in the IPL between the two. Does anyone know for certain if a 2094 top cover and wrap handle will fit a 2095?

Just peeking at the IPL's there are a few differences that I can see. The angle of the handle where it attaches to the saw appears completely different. Even the crankcase has a different P/N between the models. These are supposed to be like the 394/395 saws right? Or are they old enough to be before the real similar saws?

No, these are nothing like the 394/5 saws. The 2095 was available up until the late 90's or even the early 00's. The part numbers are different for quite a bit, but it is just the last number. My experience is that just means it has been updated to a new number, not that it isn't compatible. The handle on the other hand is very different in part number, and like you said the angle looks off. IPL's aren't known for their artistic integrity but that angle is very different.

After looking at the mounting attachment of the rear handle, I am almost 100% positive that he front wrap handle is different. The 2094 uses the old 930 style, one piece rear handle while the 2095 uses the newer 2 piece handle like the 2054/51/55/50/etc. saws.

Looks like I am on the hunt for a 2095 handle.

I wish I could help. The biggest Jonny I've seen around here is an old 910ev. Other than that it's 2150's and a 2159. Is the biggest Jonny a 2188 now? I thought they had a 395 equivalent at one point?

Yeah, that is the biggest Jonsered now which is a 390 clone. The 2095 has some similar components to the 395 and shares a top end with a K950 cutoff saw but there never was a direct equivalent to the 394/5.

I really, really want a 2188 though. :)

I offered him $500 for it and for some reason he didn't want to let it go. :)

I pulled the muffler on the 2095 and there are still machine marks on the piston. Compression on that saw is crazy high. When I get back to Maine I will put the tester on it to see where it is. I wouldn't be surprised if it is 200psi. It is wicked hard to pull over, but the crank feels tight in the bearings.

I found some used parts and should have them next week if all goes well. I am super excited for this saw. :)
