And thats what the rep on the phone said to,, I may take a pic of the guts and see what gets changed.

So I sent a email to the repair depot, I asked if they could have the parts there and do the fix while I waited.
Its a 2 hr drive each way fer me.
Got a fone message saying they could order the parts,,, but the fix would take 2-3 hours as its complicated,,,,,
LOL WTF LOL!!!
I gotta meet his dude!!

More people will be hurt installing the fix than by the non-conforming brake.

So got it fixed.
Replaced the red circled guts and flag.
He also said he removed the muff to drive out and replace a pin.
Also said the rivits on the guts now face the other way.

Very much so!! Those little bars on the brake flag are weights, magnetic.
So the saw will stick to the plate in my head when I get kickback!!!

Picked up this little 100 super today for five smackers, just needs a fuel line and carb clean to be back in action, not bad for five bucks, gotta love the faded orange to yellow look!....lol

New to the site, never knew it existed for some reason, this is great! Anyway, I’m a Dolmar(Makita) guy first. I also have Husky, Mac, Stihl, Homelite, and Echo. My favorite saws is probably my Dolmar PS-9010, I run a 36 on her. Looking forward to learning more!
