Hoping these will make it to the U.S. I hear there are some here for demo. Currently we have 5105 then up to 6400 , a 6100 would fit in nice.

After reading about the 6100's specs I don't know what to think except I'd love to run it and see if the "feel" is pleasurable to me.
Don't really care about the looks of the saw- to me what matters more is that the thing cuts well and is well designed (air filtration, reliable, good ergo's).
Specs on paper mean nothing...How's it work in the iteration they send to the states, if they ever do?

Everytime I see a Dolmar it just looks like a Chinese knock off of a real saw.

Dolmar...founded in 1927 by Emil Lerp. Built the first gas powered chainsaw.

Husqvarna AB (power products division)...founded in 1959.

Stihl...founded in 1926 by Andreas Stihl. Built the first chainsaw, electric powered.

McCulloch...founded in 1943 by Robert Paxton McCulloch.

So it looks like everything else is actually a knock off of a Dolmar...:gotcha:

Yes, they started first but it doesn't change the fact that the fit and finish
of their products is second rate, as well as their marketing and dealer network.

I got a 9010 that says otherwise...

Stihl has churned out a lot of junk. There's piles of 009/011s in just about every saw shop in the country, except where people were smart enough to throw them away.

Hell I've got a lot of guys running the 009/010/011/012 saws still I've got 2 in for service right now.

Bringing this post up. Has any one ran the Dolmar 6100 and the Husky 562 .. Curious as to some ones honest opinion. Have both dealers 20 to30 minutes from the house.
