This is my first time so I may not be the best one to describe it.
At the beginning of the season there's a draft to pick teams. There are 12 teams in my league. Scoring goes as such.
Quarterbacks get a point for every 25 yards throwing, and a point for every 10 yards rushing (they have to rush, not for handoffs). 4 points for each TD thrown, 6 for rushing in.
Rb/wr/te gets 6 for a TD, 1 for every 10 yards rushed.
Kicker gets 3 for 1-39 yard fg, 4 for 40-49 yard fg, and 5 for 50+ yard fg. 1 for each point after TD.
Defense is really weird, better off looking that one up.
You typically end up with players from all sorts of teams so it really draws you into the sport as a whole rather than looking for that one game each week. Some places will have a little wager going on or a registration fee for some stuff like a draft kit to make it easier or just a winnings pot. It's a lot of fun so far. I've never paid so much attention to the games before. Football is probably the only sport I can see myself doing this for.
