Yes, but it needs work. A 12V 6BT is a possibility. I like the 392 for now though. If I swap in a 6BT I'll try to keep the IH/Fuller O/D 5-speed.Aaron, does the old IH truck run? That would be a cool place for a cummins/5spd combo I think......
Is there an uncool place for a cummins/5 speed in a pickup?
Yep. Unless it's an OLD Dodge......then it's cool.Yeah, it's called a Dodge.
Easy fix. Go to your Husqvarna dealer and get a 530026119 'duck bill' valve. Should be around $3.anyone know about tank vent on it? when on its side, getting fuelled up, cap off, is leakin gas all over, fill & put cap back on, it stops... some one have ipl or ideas? runs good on its side so not thinkin carb. TIA...
thanks, aaron. pete. edit: was not vent, but fuel line thru top of tank, fixed, thanks again. p.Easy fix. Go to your Husqvarna dealer and get a 530026119 'duck bill' valve. Should be around $3.
Remove the AF cover and AF. Look behind the carb (close to the rear handle) for an aluminum fitting that may or may not have a little hose sticking out of it. It is threaded into the top of the fuel tank.
Unscrew the fitting and clean all the melted black duckbill remains from it. There's a nipple on the underside of the fitting. Once you have it all cleaned up, slip the new duckbill onto that nipple.
Thread the fitting back into the tank and go cut wood.
