Didn't do much, but it felt good to run a saw for the first time since April.

Got a few small'ns out of the way for a basswood tree at my mom's house. The bass is down and still lying where it fell - but I wanted to cut up the smaller good stuff I'll use for firewood first, and I ran out of daylight to finish the bass, lol. I'll be cutting that up next week for camp/bonfire wood....

My younger bro gave me a hand, he's the skinny one in the background....

Got a nice little pile of beech, ash, hophornbeam, and red oak. Didn't get much but some is betta than none. It was just nice being able to cut some wood. I've cut very very little this year....

It's always fun to get out there and get stuff cut up. Especially if it's being productive, not just messing around. Don't get me wrong, I like both, it just feels better at the end of the day if you actually accomplish something :splitting:

Good times with minimal splitting :yougo: Haven't cut much around here either.

I love cutting... There's nothing like staring at a pile of firewood at the end of a day...
Hard work is good for the soul...
This will be my project for Saturday...
