I'll be investing in a set of pro safetys anyway. Now eye remember why I let that saw sit, the stock dogs suck....
Guys here whine if they don't have an inner and outer dogs.. I always install wrap handle factory duals at a minimum.... and then they cry about losing useable bar length. Whiney kids they are.

Uranus...
Then there are the jackasses that butcher a full wrap handlebar into a half wrap (for milling or stumping or whatever) because they're too damn cheap to buy a factory half wrap...............and too damn STUPID to sell their full wrap to cover the cost of buying a half wrap plus a rack or three of their favorite beer.....

i'd say yes needle is leaking. tank will build pressure so it had to go past needle. prolly gunk needs cleaned out any way.
i never ever had this happen. what mix you use?

066 was a commercial saw,, so lots hours. Near death when I acquired it.
064 is clean but hours not known, landscaper saw.

i meant what oil. i never had a carb gunk up other than saws coming here from others. i use stihl mix and always have..........maybe i'm just lucky but i feel like name brand mix has better stabilizers. long as its not had wal mart junk i'd think its fine.
