Guys here whine if they don't have an inner and outer dogs.. I always install wrap handle factory duals at a minimum.... and then they cry about losing useable bar length. Whiney kids they are.I'll be investing in a set of pro safetys anyway. Now eye remember why I let that saw sit, the stock dogs suck....
i'd say yes needle is leaking. tank will build pressure so it had to go past needle. prolly gunk needs cleaned out any way.So I have a 066 and a 064, they both been sitting for 2 or more months.
Went to fire them up, both flooded sitting.
I dont think either has had a kit by me.
I am not a real carby guru.
B4 I do kits,,, your opinion.
I also started my other 066 with the non decomp jug,, that sucker takes a good yank!!
Its got oem slug/jug and new seals and mybe a tnak thru it.
Will do a pressure test on them.i'd say yes needle is leaking. tank will build pressure so it had to go past needle. prolly gunk needs cleaned out any way.
i never ever had this happen. what mix you use?
i meant what oil. i never had a carb gunk up other than saws coming here from others. i use stihl mix and always have..........maybe i'm just lucky but i feel like name brand mix has better stabilizers. long as its not had wal mart junk i'd think its fine. Will do a pressure test on them.
066 was a commercial saw,, so lots hours. Near death when I acquired it.
064 is clean but hours not known, landscaper saw.
