Well this is what I did today at work. Cut cookies :D

Kevin left just a little while ago, he had the camera so it's his job to post the pictures and vids for you guys. He brought some stout saws, I liked them all. That 044 is a sweet runner, and the muff cover is gorgeous, I love those things. The 028 Super pulled very nicely. And that Jonny sure hit a nice sweet spot in those logs

Fun at TK's Shop

Took a ride up to TK's shop today with the dog. Very nice shop and super nice guy. Thank you for having me!

He told me he didn't have any wood to test saws with so I stopped off at a place I knew some of my friends were logging to pick up a truck load of pine logs. I backed up to some freshly fallen pine and one guy zapped them up into 6foot sections and the other guy loaded them in the back of my truck with the excavator with a grapple.
On a side note, I was pretty impressed with how well/fast the guys 2172 cut.

Here is a picture of the logs

did you take home with any new saws?

if you like that 2172, you should have grabbed a 365xt from Tom.

I'm headed out of the shop for home now, one last pic that I have:

We filled a 32 gallon can with chips today..... That pile in the picture filled that thing. It really didn't look like that much to me sitting out there on the ground but I guess it adds up quick! And that pile wasn't even completely cleaned up!

Funny thing is, the guy running the 2172 ran a 555 the other day and loved the power, weight and anti vibe so much he asked me about it and the 565. I never heard of the saw and Tom told me all about it and showed me the 555 and 565. That does look like a hell of a saw!

I like Tom's 365 :D

I'm gonna hack up another stick tomorrow and try to shoot another vid. I'd like to swap to the 8-pin and see what she does. Perhaps I shall try a different cutting technique as well.

Hold on there, be careful how you use the word "busy" when describing EC.

Great thread guys!!

Looks like a kick arse time to me! Love getting together just to cut up some cookies. Looks like you guys had a heck of an afternoon hanging out.

Ya that wasn't very well planned. I'll have some better food next time. We only ate prime rib, smoked salmon, etc etc, you know crappy food along those lines. Didn't feel it was worth the time to take pictures of it.
