I like my saws ported running on a low ethanol 89 fuel mixed with Stihl synthetic oil. Brand of saw is all preference for what you like. I like Husqvarna personally they perform well and quality is as good as anything else on the market.

Just run your waste 10w40 from the car mixed at 10:1.

Just take a 1" hole saw and drill a hole in the front of the muffler, shake out the loose metal and run 'er.

do you have any problem with the piston falling out with such a large hole in the muffler ?seems like a gerbil would make a home in a muffler like that too

I bought 5lbs of 2 1/2" drywall screws from Lowes today.

Must be getting ready for the war. Never hurts to stockpile ammunition.

On a sweeter note:

I shipped a customer's saw to somewhere in the the Gobe desert. He should have those trees cleared in no time.

Just tie a zip-tie around it keep piston in, and gerbels out. Leave it as is and call it the Gere-muff Mod. :happywink:

I need to make more money to send more saws out to be modded. There's this one ugly son of a ***** I'd like to have port a saw of mine. Well, the ugly part is a rumor, I've never met him :D
